Philadelphia born and New York City raised, :Noni Rene is a singer, songwriter, producer, creative entrepreneur, and storyteller whose work blends soul, alternative R&B, rock, and spoken word influences into what has been described as "Grunge Soul," a sound rooted in emotional honesty, groove, and self discovery.

For more than a decade, :Noni has been building her career on her own terms. Her journey has included opening for Hip Hop legends Big Daddy Kane and Rakim at Philadelphia's ODUNDE Festival, performing as a semi finalist in the AFROPUNK Battle of the Bands, recording a direct to vinyl live session with Leesta Vall Sound Recordings, touring independently, performing with Sofar Sounds in multiple cities, and studying English and Music at both Lincoln University and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.

Throughout that journey, one thing has remained consistent: music has always been more than entertainment. For :Noni, music is a conversation.

Her songs explore identity, visibility, relationships, healing, ambition, self trust, and the ongoing process of becoming. Whether she's writing lyrics, arranging harmonies, producing records, performing live, or developing new creative experiences, her goal is to create work that invites people to engage more deeply with themselves and the world around them.

Now, with the introduction of her creative moniker, :NEAUX, :Noni is entering a new chapter defined by greater artistic ownership, creative freedom, and self definition. This evolution includes the launch of Neaux Better Records, the release of her forthcoming EP, NEAUX, and the expansion of her work into publishing, immersive listening experiences, and multimedia storytelling.

The five song project serves as both a personal statement and a reintroduction. Through themes of reflection, resilience, boundaries, visibility, grief, healing, and self reclamation, NEAUX asks listeners to look inward while encouraging them to show up more fully as themselves. Created after years of growth, disruption, reinvention, and persistence, the project represents an artist stepping more fully into her voice and vision.

Through music, storytelling, live experiences, and publishing projects, Noni's mission remains simple: to create work that helps people feel more alive, more present, and more connected to themselves.
